Andreanum or The Flamingo Flower

Anthurium Andreanum, commonly known as the Flamingo Flower or the Tailflower, is a tropical plant native to Central and South America. It is a popular ornamental plant due to its large, heart-shaped leaves and showy, brightly colored flowers that bloom throughout the year. The plant typically grows to a height of 30 to 90 centimeters (12 to 36 inches) and has dark green, glossy leaves that can reach up to 45 centimeters (18 inches) in length. The flowers are typically red, pink, or white, and are borne on long, slender stems. They are surrounded by a modified leaf called a spathe, which is usually brightly colored and glossy, giving the flower its distinctive appearance.
